2017 Amanda Arnold Lap-A-Thon

The Amanda Arnold PTO is hosting its 4th annual Amanda Arnold Lap-A-Thon on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. on the playground track. This year we're going "PANDA STRONG" in honor and appreciation of Amanda Arnold military families and students!

The Lap-A-Thon is a fun fitness celebration for all grade levels. Each grade will walk or run laps around the track for 25 minutes. Parent volunteers will track each class's total laps by handing out special wristbands for each lap completed. The PTO will provide warm-up exercises and motivational music to keep our students energized and excited! We have invited our Amanda Arnold military heroes to join us on the track and help the kids be PANDA STRONG and add to the fun of this annual event.

The Lap-A-Thon includes an optional fundraising component. All students are encouraged to ask friends and family to support this event. 100% of all donations collected will go directly to the Amanda Arnold PTO. The PTO will use these donations to help fund classroom and building enhancements, classroom technology, after-school programs, landscaping, fine arts assemblies, school socials, field trip support, playground improvements, and other PTO projects.

If you would like to make a donation, there are two ways to donate:

1. Donate via PayPal - click here to donate online! We have created a PTO PayPal account to accept online donations from out-of-town friends and family. Please enter your student's name and grade level in the "Special Instructions" box to assist us in tracking class totals. (Please note that PayPal charges 2.2% plus an additional $0.30 per transaction.) You do NOT need to have a PayPal account to make a donation through the link.

2. Write a check to Amanda Arnold PTO. Please write the name and grade of the child you are sponsoring in the memo of the check, or leave the memo blank if you are not supporting a child, but just want to give. Please mail your check to:

Amanda Arnold PTO is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible.

Family members are encouraged to join our students on the track for an afternoon walk or run. Please watch for the event schedule in future announcements. 

The 2016 Lap-A-Thon was a huge success. The kids enjoyed an afternoon of fitness and helped raise over $12,000 for our school! Please help us be PANDA STRONG and make this year's event an even greater success for our kids and our school!
